Dubbed the Light Rider, this electric motorcycle is crafted with 3D printing, featuring a hollow aircraft-grade aluminum frame formed with thousands of thin metal layers produced in a bed of metal powder. Resembling an alien-like exoskeleton, the frame weighs just 13 pounds, about 30 percent less than the standard electric bike. The bike itself weighs in at 77 pounds and has a range of 37 miles per charge. The manufacturer, AP Works, has priced the Light Rider at $56,095, and will build only 50 units. Pre-orders are available now through apworks.de.
