Filson adds to its watch line with the introduction of the special-edition Air Scout, assembled by hand at the Shinola Watch factory in Detroit. The piece is based on Filson's Scout Watch and features a design inspired by the iconic aircraft used by US Forest Service smokejumpers, an organization made up of elite firefighters who specialize in combating wildfires in Filson's home state of Washington. The Air Scout showcases a new coin-edge bezel and a bi-directional rotating top ring with aluminum details, highlighted by a red notch that gives the nod to the nose of a smokejumper's plane. Rounding out the details is C-1 Lumi-Nova coating on the watch dial and hands, allowing for visibility up to 15 hours in low light. Limited to a total run of only 350 pieces, the Air Scout is available as a box set that retails for $1,000. The set includes three straps built with G-10 construction. Get yours now at filson.com.
