At today's WWDC 2016 event, Apple unveiled iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, along with a third release for its newest product, the Apple Watch. Your favorite apps will launch almost instantaneously, and there's now a Dock, accessible by swiping up from the home screen, granting access to your favorite apps. The Control Center can also be brought up by swiping from the bottom of the display.
Additionally, you can now draw text onscreen through Scribble mode, smart replies are integrated into message notifications, and emergency calls can be made by holding down the side button. On the aesthetic front, there's a new round of watch faces, including an activity face that highlights your progress, a minimalist "numerals" face and a Minnie Mouse design with customizable skirt colors.
Fitness is updated with a quicker start, and you can share with friends your activities while also exchanging messages. You can also set reminders for deep breathing exercises that help manage stress, and wheelchair users get activity progress tailored specially for them.
Look for watchOS 3 to launch in the fall.
