With the Meridian Phase Jacket, Mission Workshop set out to make one jacket for all conditions, featuring a trim silhouette that's breathable, lightweight, rain-proof and ventilated, all wrapped up in a minimalist design. Body heat mapping was the foundation for the garment's construction, resulting in what the brand calls its "best athletic jacket to date." Details include a laser drilled breathable back sheet with double panel offset mesh ventilation, breathable and water-resistant stretch woven fabric underarm panels, YKK zippers throughout, side-access zippered cargo pockets, external access chest pocket and internal ported media pocket. The majority of the jacket is constructed with 96 g/m2 Polartec NeoShell fabrication, topped off with a removable helmet-compatible hood. Retailing for $485, the jacket is available now at missionworkshop.com.
