Impossible Project Announces Project 8, the World's Largest Photo Sharing Program
The instant photography purveyors at Impossible Project have announced Project 8, billed as the world's largest global photo sharing program. Initiated in Spring 2016, Project 8 kicked off by elnlisting noted contributors, including renowned photographers, musicians, designers and artists, to snap photos with the I-1, Impossible Project's first analog instant camera. The program continues with participants from the world over, who are invited to take photos using the I-1 Instant Camera, responding to one of eight briefs provided. They must send their photo to Impossible Project by July 2nd, whereupon it joins a global gallery exhibition at the end of the Project, joining images from original Project 8 Makers. They include Jack White, Anthony Vaccarello and Ellen von Unwerth, and a sampling of their photos are highlighted in the gallery below. As for the I-1 camera, it's avaialble now at impossible-project.com.
