The First Justice League Trailer Signals a Change in Direction for the DC Universe

It would appear that director Zack Snyder and the executives at Warner Bros. have heard the criticism in the wake of Superman v Batman: Dawn of Justice. The first footage from Justice League was unveiled at Hall H over the weekend at San Diego Comic Con, and Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne seems to have found his sense of humor. The nearly three-minute clip shows Batman's alter ego on an enlistment campaign, with his recruiting efforts mostly focused on Aquaman and the Flash. Set to a thumping soundtrack from the White Stripes, the footage conveys a direct message: DC is bringing the fun back to its superhero flicks. Check out the video below, and expect Justice League to hit theaters in November of 2017.
