Britain's Bristol Cars has unveiled the Bullet, its first new car in 10 years, and only the 18th model ever in its limited lineup. The hand-built speedster celebrates the brand's 70th anniversary, featuring exterior styling evocative of retro aviation, but virtually everything else about the car is definitely modern. There's a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 from BMW under the hood, good for 370bhp and 370lb ft of torque, and mated to either an automatic or six-speed manual gearbox. It can hit 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds, ultimately reaching a 155 mph limited top speed. In terms of build, Bullet’s body is hand-built in Chichester, England, with a body constructed from carbon fiber composites to bring the weight down to 2,425 lbs. Production will begin in early 2017, with the run limited to just 70 units, and pricing beginning at around £250,000 (around $329,018).
