This past weekend saw the opening of Brooklyn's first Apple store. Located in the borough's Williamsburg neighborhood, the space eschews the sterile, futuristic vibe typically seen in most of the company's retail outposts, and instead offers a warm, inviting environment, thanks to the exposed brick walls and refurbished industrial lighting. The built-in display shelves that line the store's walls -- referred to as "avenues" by the staff -- are made to promote a hands-on, "window shopping" experience for customers. Similarly, there's an open waiting area instead of the standard Genius Bar, where customers can relax while they wait for assistance. Check out more looks below, courtesy of Architizer, and be sure to stop by if you're in the area.
