Let's get this out of the way first: if you're fan of ultra-premium Horween Leather on New Balance's most beloved retro runners, you'll have to be prepared to break the bank if you want to nab a pair. The latest made-in-USA silhouettes to emerge from the series are the always popular 998, done up in a rich light brown hue, and the equally popular 1300, built with a basic black leather upper. Both are finished with tonal laces, textured grey leather "N" branding and a contrasting white midsole. The 1300 goes for $320, the 998 a bit more at $340, and the kicks are available now through select New Balance retailers, including Rise.

Also check out the New Balance 1500 "Curry," as well as a grey-camo edition of the 997.
