For Fall/Winter 2016, Penfield has restyled and developed many of its classic silhouettes, continuing the technical expansion and progression of the past few seasons. Tapping the technical knowledge of new head of design Simon Oates, the heritage brand is experimenting with new materials, including a matte effect 3M reflective fabric used for the first time across a range of accessories, as well as perennial favorites like the Kasson Jacket and the Outback body warmer. Additionally, new silhouettes like the lightweight and utilitarian Oakdale, along with the newly introduced Vanleer bomber, highlight a more technical and athletic sensibility that's rapidly become the hallmark of Penfield's contemporary design.
