Unveiled today at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the Cadillac Escala concept, which comes with a footnote from CEO Johan de Nysschen, who's already discussing production considerations. Based on the same platform as the Cadillac CT6, the Escala (Spanish for "scale") is six inches longer and boasts a prototype 4.2 liter twin-turbo V8. Nysschen asserts that the Escala represents "a statement of intent for the next iteration of the Cadillac design language, and also technical concepts in development for future Cadillac models." Prospective buyers can expect this particular design language to appear on production models starting in late 2018.
