Casio has taken the wraps off the newest additions to the ocean concept Gulfmaster series, the GWN-Q1000, representing the first G-Shock model to pack a Quad Sensor. Made to assist coast guard officers and other security and rescue marine personnel, the quad sensors feature an altimeter to measure altitude, a barometer to monitor atmospheric pressure to predict suddenly changing weather conditions, thermometer to check for changes in both air and water temperature, a compass to detect wind and tidal direction, and a gauge that measures current depth under water. The introductory models from the series take the form of the black and blue GWN-Q1000-1AJF and the white and blue GWN-Q1000-7AJF, both pictured below.
