Originally launched in the 1990s, the groundbreaking Reebok Instapump Fury was ahead of its time, and its influence reverberates to this day. It's certainly felt in the new Reebok Fury Adapt, which reinterprets the classic runner for the 21st century. While there are clear callbacks to the Instapump Fury, including the modified bootie construction and TPU cage, the shoe features a sleeker, slimmed down shape, built on a last borrowed from Reebok's running segment. In addition to the cushioned EVA midsole and pull tabs for easy on and off, the shoe has a unique feature in the form of the looped eyelets on the TPU cage. A point of pride for shoe designer Wayne Russell, the seemingly innocuous detail exemplifies the considered design that went into the creation of the shoe.
