Each Bell & Ross BR 01 Skull watch has paid tribute to the legendary parachutists of the Second World War, beginning in 2009 with the original BR 01 Skull and continuing with 2015's Skull Bronze. In 2016 we now see the "Burning Skull," remaking the 82nd and 101st American airborne divisions' "Death from Above" insignia into a two level relief on the 46mm watch face, honoring the men that rained havoc on Normandy beginning on June 6, 1944. Each of the 500 stamped metal pieces are further accentuated with hand styling and tattoo-like ink and a SuperLuminova dial cover that intensifies its defiant stare. Inside, a Swiss automatic movement powers two hands while an alligator strap finishes the look. The Bell & Ross BR01 Burning Skull is available now for $7,700.
