Red Wing Heritage presents the new Merchant boot, developed as a tribute to company founder Charles Beckman. The Merchant is based on traditional work boots from the 1920s, a period when Red Wing made boots without toe reinforcement for a more comfortable fit without stress points. It's supported by a Chemi Gum sole, which Red Wing has been using on work boots since 1964 and is now introducing here in the Heritage line. The construction features a lower cork content than the Nitrile Cork sole, resulting in a clean, slim and lightweight silhouette. Retailing for $319.99, the Merchant boot is offered in Olive Mohave Leather and Ebony Harness Leather, both sourced from Red Wing's own S.B. Foot Tanning Co. Both are available exclusively at redwingheritage.com
