Honda took to the Paris Motor Show this week to debut this visually striking Civic Type R Prototype, offering a preview of what the 2018 Civic Type R will look like when it makes its North American debut at SEMA in November. Sporting a six-speed manual transmission, the prototype features carbon fiber side skirts, 20-inch piano black alloy wheels, dual center exhaust and a massive rear spoiler. Specs and pricing have yet to be announced, but word on the street is that the front-wheel drive will pack a turbo 2.0-liter engine with power rated in the 300 to 345 horsepower range.
