It's the 30th anniversary of Frank Miller's comic-book masterpiece, The Dark Knight Returns, and to celebrate the milestone, Converse has teamed up with DC Comics to release two Batman-themed colorways of the Chuck Taylor All Star ’70. One pair features comic-book panels from the Batman archives, printed in all-over fashion on a premium canvas upper, while the second pair has embossed Batman iconography on a black leather exterior. Common details include an embossed Batman logo on the tongue and a rubber glow-in-the-dark collectible hangtag. Look for the kicks to launch October 1st through Converse stores and, as well as specialty retailers.

Release Date: 10/1/16 (Saturday)

In other Converse news, the Chuck Taylor has been updated as a winter boot, and an apparel collection of sportswear Essentials is available in stores now.
