Reebok Creates Sneakers Using 3D Drawn Liquid Components
The Reebok Liquid Speed is limited to 300 pairs
The engineers from the Reebok Future team have created the Liquid Factory, a revolutionary technology that uses state-of-the-art software and robotics to literally draw shoes in three dimensions. Specifically, the new technique uses 3D Drawing and a proprietary liquid material, created especially for Reebok by BASF, to draw shoe componentry cleanly, precisely and in three-dimensional layers. The result is the new Liquid Speed, made without the use of traditional molds. It's available now at reebok.com.
