The North Face Has Launched Its Japan Unlimited Collection

If you've had occasion to gaze longingly at the seasonal offerings from The North Face Purple Label -- a brand only available to the Japanese market -- then get ready for some very welcome news: the exclusive pieces are coming to the U.S., collected under the "Japan Unlimited" banner. Developed in collaboration with nanamica, The North Face Purple Label has garnered a cult following here in the U.S., thanks to its retro designs, paired with modern TNF fabrics and construction. GQ describes Unlimited as having a more "pared back" retro design sensibility compared to Purple Label, but fans can expect a selection of brand staples, including tapered climbing pants, paneled Gore Tex parkas and quilted layering pieces. 

For now, Unlimited is available only at The North Face's 5th Avenue flagship in NYC. The San Francisco Jackson Square store will take delivery of the collection next month. In the meantime, check out some of the key pieces from the assortment in the gallery below.
