Back in September, we caught wind of an exciting development: the power-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 would be launching before the year was over. A vision of the future inspired by the iconic Nike Mag, which raised millions this year for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the shoe has key innovations that could revolutionize the footwear industry in coming years. There's a heel sensor that alerts the shoe when a foot enters, a cable lacing system in lieu of traditional laces, unique motor capabilities that tighten and loosen the cables, and a rechargeable battery that powers the LED lights on the outsole. Unfortunately, technology on that level doesn't come cheap. The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 launches November 28th with retail set at $720. Check out the introductory black, white and silver colorways below.
