On the heels of its first ever standalone store, which recently launched in Toronto, Canada Goose is set to open a Soho flagship on Wooster Street in New York City. The 4,000-square-foot space is appointed with fixtures that celebrate its home country: there's raw marble detailing from British Columbia, soft maple benches from the Ontario-based millworker DB Johnson, and additional seating from the Montauk Sofa company of Montreal. Customers will also encounter soapstone-carved polar bear sculptures by the contemporary Aboriginal artist Jason Carter. In terms of product, the store will stock 3,500-plus units per season, including new styles, collaborations, archival pieces and exclusive styles exclusive to the brand's retail stores.
The store officially opens on November 17. Be sure to check it out if you're in the area.
