Mercedes-Maybach took to the LA Auto Show to debut its S650 Cabriolet, featuring a redesigned front bumper and new chrome details to differentiate the model from the standard S65 Cabriolet. The car also has forged 20-inch wheels and a plush leather-clad interior, highlighted by entrance lights projecting the Maybach logo onto the floor. Under the hood, there's the same biturbo 6.0-liter V12 engine found on the Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet, good for 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A 0-60 mph sprint time is rated at four seconds, with speed topping out at an electronically-capped 155 mph. Just 300 individually numbered cars will be made, and just 75 will make it Stateside, available in a choice of three liveries: Zircon Red paint with Porcelain/Black interior, Cote d’Azur Blue paint with Porcelain/Saddle Brown interior and Diamond White paint with Porcelain/Yacht Blue Interior. All cars will come bundled with a matching fabric cover, a color-coordinated luggage set made from the same leather used in the cabin, and a certificate signed by Daimler chairman Dieter Zetsche.
