Coinciding with All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, Reebok and Footaction hosted "Classics in the Courtyard" on Saturday afternoon in the heart of Bourbon Street. The pop-up sneaker customization store and concert featured Reebok brand ambassadors Cam'ron, Teyana Taylor, and Curren$y, who each took turns performing for a packed house while sporting iconic Reebok styles like the Club C, Freestyle, and Instapump Fury.
Alongside the "Classics in the Courtyard" event, Reebok showcased three collaborations with Sneaker Politics that released throughout the weekend. They included the Club C 85, Workout Low and Shaq Attaq, done up in the signature purple and yellow tones of Shaq's LSU alma mater. A special launch event at Sneaker Politics' New Orleans location saw an in-store appearance by Shaquille O'Neal himself, who spent time shaking hands and posing for photos with fans. Some lucky guests even received signed copies of Shaq's larger-than-life size 22 Reebok sneakers. Fellow basketball legend Dee Brown also stopped by the store, sporting the Reebok Pump Omni Lite Retro that he made famous during his playing days.
Retailing for $160, the Sneaker Politics x Reebok Shaq Attaq "Alma Mater" is available now at sneakerpolitics.com. Additionally, the Reebok Classic Club C is available at reebok.com and Footaction for $69.99, and the Reebok Freestyle Hi is available at reebok.com for $69.99.
