2017 sees the Nike SB Dunk turning 15 years old, and the Swoosh is celebrating the milestone with a reengineered version of the classic silhouette. The all new Zoom Dunk Elite Low takes inspiration from the past but has its eye toward the future, featuring a one-piece upper that eliminates seams in high-wear areas. There's also a larger Zoom Air bag concealed in the midsole, resulting in a model that's lighter and more flexible than its predecessor. The Zoom Dunk Elite Low is set to launch in an introductory grey and blue colorway modeled off the original SB Dunk sample that Sandy Bodecker (then the GM of Nike SB) first took around to skate shops in 2002. The shoe is available beginning March 9 through SNKRS, nike.com and at select retailers.
