During the heyday of Nike's vaunted ACG line in the late '80s and early '90s, the brand lived up to its "All Conditions" stipulation with the launch of the Aqua Sock. The slip-on, designed by Geoff Hollister and released in 1989, was specifically created for water sports enthusiasts, featuring a spare and streamlined build atop a thin rubber outsole. The Swoosh is revisiting the unorthodox classic with a contemporary upgrade, dubbed the Aqua Sock 360. This new iteration fortifies the breathable socklike upper with a molded heel counter and a supportive three-piece outsole. Offered in a trio of colorways, the Aqua Sock 360 is available now at overseas retailers like atmos. Stay tuned for word on a stateside release.
