The legendary Rei Kawakubo, founder of COMME des GARÇONS, is the first living designer to be given a solo exhibition at The Met's Costume Institute since Yves Saint Laurent in 1983. Titled "Rei Kawakubo/COMME des GARÇONS: Art of the In-Between," the retrospective -- and the attendant Met Gala -- has spawned a CDG x Nike Air Pegasus 83, as well as an exclusive CDG collection made expressly for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The goods include graphic tees, tote bags and wallets, with prices ranging from $65 to $175. Shops the goods now at metmuseum.org
