NikeLab is set to launch its Summer 2017 ACG collection, designed in partnership with Errolson Hugh. True to the Acronym founder's ethos of form following function, the upcoming release features lightweight, water repellent fabrics, finished with bold branding and equipped with cable ports and magnetic closures. On the footwear side, the new NikeLab ACG.07.KMTR is built for the modern urban commuter, featuring an upper crafted from a water-resistant textile with 4-way stretch. Easy on and off comes courtesy of the expandable upper, while a magnetic buckle and strap over the arch, alongside a magnetic heel closure and toggle, offer a secure, lockdown fit. An injected phylon midsole and a high-traction rubber outsole round out the details.
The apparel side is highlighted by the NikeLab ACG Poncho, made with 3-layer water-resistant ripstop fabric treated with a DWR (durable water-repellant) coating. The garment is topped with an adjustable hood with a reinforced brim, and magnetic closures on the sides offer added protection from the elements. Additional apparel pieces include a Men's Tank, Men's Short-sleeve Tank, Shirt Jacket, Pull-over hoodie, Fleece Short, Cargo Short, Cargo Pant, Bucket Cap, and 3-In-1 Cap.
The Summer 2017 ACG collection launches May 18 at nikelab.com and NikeLab stores.
