Last year, Nike released the most radical revision of its iconic Air Force 1 model to come out of the company's design headquarters in Beaverton. Dubbed the SF AF-1, the sneaker featured a tough ballistic nylon upper that spoke to its military-inspired design origins. This summer, a shortened version of the shoe arrives in stores, carrying over many of the same details from its predecessor while adding a few new components, the most prominent being the zipper on the heel and prominent Nike Air branding. Starting next month, the Nike SF-AF1 Mid will roll out to stores in seven new colorways. Check them out in the gallery below.
