Nike's new React Hyperdunk 2017 Flyknit already has a championship pedigree, thanks to Draymond Green, who wore the shoe during the Warriors' recent playoff run. The model continues the Hyperdunk legacy, begun in 2008 as the epitome of Nike Basketball design. The performance features for this latest iteration starts from the bottom, starting with a data-informed traction pattern on the outsole, drawn from pressure maps developed by the Nike Sports Research Lab and highlighted by circular pistons tuned to offer traction exactly where it's needed. Additional benefits include a Nike React core that's lightweight, responsive and durable, and a shank plate sandwiched between the Nike React cushioning and outsole for rigidity and torque management. A Flyknit upper, fitted with a decoupled collar for natural mobility and a customizable fit, rounds out the details.
The Nike React Hyperdunk 2017 Flynkit launches August 3rd through nike.com and select Nike retailers.
