Like its iconic Chuck Taylor cousin, the Converse One Star originated as a shoe made for the hardwood, eventually re-emerging as a lifestyle silhouette that was co-opted in part by skaters in the 1990s. It's currently enjoying a newfound resurgence, thanks to recent collaborations with Undefeated and Footpatrol, and now it's set to launch in a new Perforated Leather design offering enhanced breathability for the summer months. In addition to the matte leather build, the shoe has a vulcanized rubber outsole and Ortholite insole for added comfort. Look for the kicks to launch July 13th in introductory Black, Casino Red and White colorways, available through and Converse retail stores.
