Independent footwear brand No.One is quickly gaining a following for making sneakers the old fashioned way. At its Venice, California, studio, each shoe is hand lasted in a process that recalls the way cobblers have made dress shoes for hundreds of years. The brand has joined forces with renowned LA boutique Union to launch its first ever collaboration, centered around its minimalist Bravo silhouette in baby blue and tan. Both feature an Italian suede upper with a French Plonge lambskin lining, as well as Tuscan vegetable tanned detailing at the tongue and heel. Embossed on the medial side of the sneaker is a bar from the Mobb Deep track "Shook Ones," as an homage to the late Prodigy. Limited to 12 pairs each, the kicks are priced at $675 and will be available starting tomorrow, July 27th, in-store and at unionlosangeles.com. More colorways of the collab are expected to arrive in mid August.
