Last night saw Rihanna returning to New York Fashion Week in grand style, debuting her Spring/Summer 2018 FENTY PUMA by Rihanna runway show at Manhattan's Park Armory. The dunes of pink sand and motocross riders in the air made overt allusions to the twin inspirations for the collection, motocross and surf, featured on gender-fluid silhouettes using both oversized and body-hugging shapes. collection favorites are reimagined in new seasonal appropriate fabrics and colors. Making its debut was swimwear, paired with seasonal essentials that include Terry Toweling Hoodies, Oversized Graphic Sweatshirts and Basketball Shorts. On the other end of the spectrum, motorsport racing gear was transformed into runway-ready looks, built with performance materials like lightweight leathers, nylon and air tech mesh. On the footwear side, the Creeper is made over with neoprene and stacked soles with bungee cord laces, as well as sandals and various FENTY slides.
