Last month, G-Shock unveiled the "Big Bang Black" collection in honor of its 35th anniversary, featuring "Since 1983" branding on all five pieces. The rough-and-tumble watch brand is keeping the anniversary celebration going through a collaboration with legendary artist and designer Eric Haze, who's applied a brushstroke-inspired black and white color scheme on a limited-edition GA700 watch. The GA700EH-1A, marking the seventh joint effort between G-Shock and Haze, features "2017" printed on the band loop, alongside a signature star on the tip of the band and Haze's personal logo on the dial and case back.
In terms of functionality, the GA700EH-1A features a super illuminator LED light, 3D bold black-and-white hands and five-year battery life. You can also expect the brand's legendary shock resistance and 200M water resistance, as well as world time (in 31 time zones, 48 cities + UTC), four daily alarms and one snooze alarm, 1/100th second stopwatch, 1/10th countdown timer, 12/24 hour formats and a hand retract function.
Priced at $140, the GA700EH-1A will be available starting October 1st at gshock.com, the G-Shock Soho Store in NYC, and G-Shock retailers including select Macy's and Zumiez locations.
