This month's installment of the adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange -- the yearlong program that brings together two retailers from different corners of the world -- features a meeting of the creative minds from London's Footpatrol and Hong Kong's Juice. Together, the shops have reworked two classic adidas models, the Matchcourt Mid and the Handball Top, both featuring richly detailed embroidered artwork reminiscent of vintage souvenir jackets. The Matchcourt Mid, carrying a black canvas upper with ornate embroidery on the medial and lateral sides, is distinguished by heel zip detailing and a rubber toe cap. Its Handball Top counterpart has a royal blue suede upper, adorned with pony hair 3-stripes on the lateral side, faux snakeskin 3-stripes on the medial side, and embroidered artwork on the lining. Each pair retails for $160 and the pack arrives with a corresponding collection of bespoke souvenir merchandise, including lighters, ashtrays, umbrellas, half-half scarves, plates, posters, postcards and more.
