Founded by Tetsu "Tet" Nishiyama in 1996, WTAPS has carved its own identity in the crowded Japanese streetwear firmament by expertly blending military-inspired apparel with traditional workwear and menswear staples. The brand's 20-year history is documented in a new book, WTAPS 01, published by Tokyo-based mo'design and limited to just 2,000 copies. The hardbound volume was five years in the making and showcases over 300 pieces from the WTAPS archive, listed chronologically with background commentary. You can pre-order the book starting November 18th at modes.tokyo.
