Initially teased here at the start of the month, Supreme has officially announced the brand's collaboration with Akira, the legendary Japanese manga series created by Katsuhiro Otomo. Running from 1982 to 1990, Akira takes place in Neo-Tokyo, a dystopian version of the city that's emerged in a post-World War III setting, where society is besieged by anti-government terrorism, rampant drug use and gang violence. Supreme's Akira collection is an extensive one, featuring both apparel and accessories. In the former category, the pieces take the form of a Fishtail Parka, Work Jacket, Coveralls, Jacquard Long Sleeve Top, Soccer Top, two Hooded Sweatshirts, a Zip-Up Hooded Sweatshirt, four Short Sleeve T-Shirts and a Long Sleeve T-Shirt. Rounding out the range are a a 5-Panel Hat, two Skateboard Decks and a Ceramic Plate and Tray.
