While catering to drastically different audiences, The North Face and Vans do have one thing in common, which makes this upcoming collaboration not as surprising as you might initially think: both brands are owned by the VF Corporation, a megalithic apparel company based in North Carolina. Strategically, The North Face and Vans do intersect with the latter's outdoor-focused MTE line, and that's precisely what's involved here, in the form of the Vans Sk8-Hi MTE and Old Skool MTE. Both silhouettes, prominently featuring The North Face logo stamped on the heel, are finished with a checkerboard lugged outsole. You can expect two colorways of each.
Rounding out the collection is the Torrey MTE quilted jacket and the Base Camp Duffle, both adorned with dual branding and decked out in a trio of matching color options: red/black, yellow/black and black. Check out the individual pieces in the gallery below, and expect the goods to hit select retailers on November 3rd.
