Last week saw renowned NYC sneaker boutique Extra Butter opening the doors to their remodeled LES flagship. Representing the first U.S. project for the Japanese architect Nobuo Araki, famed for his modern and minimalists approach to design, the store will offer a uniquely cinematic shopping experience. The multi-function space is appointed with authentic movie-theater seating with a concession stand stocking old-school candy. There's also a retractable movie screen for intimate movie nights, while an exterior ticket window offers cups of coffee for passing pedestrians. Scroll through the galleries below for detailed looks, as well as a photo recap from last week's exclusive launch event.
