Tonight, during halftime of the Lakers/Warriors game at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant will have both his No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys raised to the rafters in a highly anticipated number retirement ceremony. In honor of the event, Nike is releasing a special Black Mamba edition of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium iD. The shoe will feature a snakeskin-textured leather upper, embellished with a drop-shadow Swoosh and the numbers 8 and 24 on each heel tab. Additionally, eight stars appear on each tongue tag, representing the total number of Lakers championships when taken together.

The kicks will launch tonight through nike.com to coincide with the tip-off of tonight's Lakers vs. Warriors game, approximately 7:30 pm PT. Accompanying graphic tees, which can be seen in the gallery below, will also be available at nike.com beginning at 8:24 pm PT.
