After stops in London, Milan and Paris, the men's Fall 2018 runway shows have finally descended into New York City. One of the more highly anticipated presentations for day two of New York Fashion Week: Men's kicked off in the early evening, as N.HOOLYWOOD unveiled its Fall 2018 collection. Taken together, the looks constituted a loving paean to workwear of the tried and true variety. Daisuke Obana played with proportions, but otherwise he kept things straightforward, featuring essential pieces you'd find hanging in the locker rooms of warehouses and factories throughout the heartland.

Backstage, Obana put the final touches on the assembled models, some of whom were NYC steelworkers conscripted for the cause. They wore battered hard hats from the field, which became functional accessories complementing the gear and work boots made in collaboration with Timberland Pro, a dedicated line for hard-working laborers and first responders. Additional collaborations with the likes of Lee and New Balance maintained the American lunch pail vibe.
