adidas specifically made the adizero Sub2 for the fastest runners in the world, featuring a full-length BOOST Light midsole, reimagined in a silver marble pattern, and an upper built with a single-layer engineered mesh with internal reinforcements and advanced Microfit. Underfoot is a Continental Microweb outsole, made to maximize grip and reduce slipping for superior efficiency throughout all 26 miles on race day. 2017 Tokyo Marathon champion and adidas athlete Wilson Kipsang will wear the shoe in his return to Tokyo this weekend, with the intention of making history by running the marathon in under two hours. Runners the world over will have the chance to beat their own personal records while wearing the shoe, as the adizero Sub2 will be available for $180 at and in adidas stores starting March 15.
