Just as 2018 saw the release of the OG Black/Cement colorway of the Air Jordan 3, 2019 could be the year that the classic "Bred" colorway of the Air Jordan 4 finally returns, complete with the always coveted Nike Air branding, a detail that hasn't appeared on a Jordan 4 retro since 1999. The rumored release would be a fitting way for Jordan Brand to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, with the black and red nubuck model representing arguably the most popular colorway of the iconic silhouette. Considering the Swoosh's fondness for tradition, a release date on or around NBA All-Star Weekend is probably likely. Stay tuned.
