Nike has tapped Polish artist Filip Pagowski -- best known as the creator of COMME des GARÇONS PLAY's heart patch logo -- to put his own spin on all 30 NBA team logos. The refashioned motifs are showcased on a collection of crewneck tees, with Pagowski focusing on three elements of each franchise to play with: the team name, the city it represents and its corresponding mascot.
"The idea behind the project was not to replicate the original or the official logos of each team," says Pagowski, "but rather come up with something that portrayed the team or the place they are coming from, or both, and to have it done in some fun way."
