This month finds adidas Originals launching its newest silhouette, the Kamanda, boasting a modern design language influenced by the Three Stripes' extensive archive -- specifically, the iconic Samba. The shoe also takes inspiration from the energy and attitude of UK soccer fandom from the 1980s, aka Terrace culture. Launching in introductory black and burgundy colorways, the Kamanda sports a smooth nubuck upper, complemented with a mesh tongue, perforated 3-stripes and gold foil branding. A comfortable fit comes courtesy of an EVA drop-in, suede footbed and rear quarter leather lining. A sculpted gum rubber cup sole finishes the look. Retailing for $150, the kicks will be available through adidas.com and select retailers beginning April 28th.
