The Air Zoom Pegasus, one of Nike's most enduring runners, is entering its 35th year in 2018. In the planning stages of this latest iteration, the Swoosh elicited feedback from elite athletes (including champion British distance runner Mo Farah), resulting in some of the key features remaining left untouched. In this case, it's the mesh cut-and-sewn upper, along with the combo of Zoom Air and Cushlon foam in the midsole. In terms of what's new, runners can expect a full-length articulated Nike Zoom airbag inspired by the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%, as well as a redesigned collar directed away from the Achilles for added comfort. There's also a new notched tongue for easier on and off, a beveled heel that accommodates touchdown, and a re-positioned bottom eyelet that opens up and provides flex in the foot. The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 is available starting today at nike.com.
