Considering that ALIFE has long embodied downtown NYC culture, this new collaboration with Crocs is probably jarring for the brand's legion of followers. According to Rob Cristofaro, ALIFE founder and Creative Director, the joint venture makes more sense than you might initially think: "Crocs' iconic clog has made a global impact, not only because of its unique design, but because it serves a functional purpose," he says. "At ALIFE, these are the brands that we strive to work with."
ALIFE's take on Crocs comes in three variations: Art ($600), featuring removable 3D printed Jibbitz that depict New York City's most iconic landmarks; Sport ($140), with attached white tube socks; and Classic ($80), showcasing the classic ALIFE logo on a grey Classic Clog.
