For its latest joint effort, Converse has called on Midnight Studios, the L.A. based fashion label founded in 2014 by Shane Gonzales, who was just 19 at the time. The buzzy brand has already has already cultivated a strong following due to a wily blend of contemporary style with a DIY punk aesthetic, a dynamic that informs new minimalist takes on the Chuck 70 and One Star. Both feature what's essentially an inside-out build, featuring natural, unbleached greige canvas on the upper, affixed with a visible PAXAR label and duty tags, traditionally seen on a shoe's interior. On the Chuck 70, the Chuck patch is now on the inside, while the lesser known player's tag on the right sneaker is exposed for the first time. Branded laces are the finishing touch on both pairs.

Expect the kicks to drop this Friday, June 15th, at and select retailers.
