Jordan Brand has clearly hit on a winning formula with its recent run of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG releases. The basic concept: offer variations on the original Black Toe colorway by applying a contrasting hue to the otherwise neutral black and white palette. One such example is this upcoming pair in Court Purple, which is essentially a retread of the Air Jordan 1 "Bred Toe" from early this year, featuring purple paneling instead of red. Word on the street is these will arrive on store shelves in September. Stay tuned for exact release details.
