The North Face Black Series has joined forces with Japanese designer/graphic artist Kazuki Kuraishi to launch an apparel collection inspired by a theme of city exploration. In the words of Kazuki, his focus was on the brand's "Shelter" theme, offering "protection in an urban environment." As a result, performance fabrics are a key feature of the assortment, including waterproof Gore-Tex protection, lightweight Primaloft insulation, and breathable Pertex wicking fabric. The first drop is made up of fourteen pieces, highlighted by three jacket styles, three tops and and one pant. Check them out in the gallery below, and expect the collection to launch later this season in the U.S. and Europe.
