Following last week's teaser, Tom Sachs and Nike have taken the covers off their upcoming Mars Yard Overshoe, the follow-up to 2017's Mars Yard 2.0. A durable build makes the new model able to take on the elements. "The Mars Yard Overshoe, its nickname is the March Yard — for March, the worst month of the year," says Sachs. "It is wet, your feet are wet the whole month of March."

The upper can be enveloped in a shroud made with Dyneema, a super-strong fiber commonly used in boat rope and sails), but it can also be rolled down for indoors wear. Two adjustable straps secured by a Fidlock magnetic buckle deliver an adaptive fit, while grippy rubber outsole provides grippy traction underfoot.

A limited release of the Nike Mars Yard Overshoe will accompany the London premiere of Sachs' latest film Paradox Bullets. The October 11 launch will be held in-store at DSM London through an online raffle, followed by a global release date to be announced.
